Homo Baroque - Homo Rococo , 1985-1988

Celluloso Evergonni becomes the author of much of the large format 8”x10”, 20”x24” and 40”x80” Polaroid works that dealt with Homo Baroque and Homo Rococo re-enactments. The later two formats where cameras that were housed by the Polaroid Corporation in Boston, New York City, and Frankfurt, Germany. The finished pieces were images that had been specifically constructed for the lens. The lighting was a mix of filtered tungsten and flash that created a more painterly palette. The images ranged from solo images to diptychs thru polytychs of as many as 13 images.
